What is an innovation workshop?
You see a new business opportunity for your business, which involves a well-defined problem. It may, e.g., be a new product which cannot be developed using the business’s existing technologies, or the development of better and more profitable production systems.
Together with you, we put together an interdisciplinary team consisting of employees from your business and scientists and business developers from Risø. The team can, e.g., cover the following areas: research, management, business development, production, technology, design, sale or customer service. At the one-day workshop, we do brainstorming together and identify ideas for financially attractive solutions for your business.
This short and targeted process provides your business with a broad range of technological possibilities resulting in at least one new business opportunity or specific cost-savings and thus increased earnings.
How does your business benefit from a workshop?
On the workshop day:
- A sorted list of ideas for solutions
- New or increased knowledge about technologies
- Immediate assessment of risks and uncertainties as well as visualisation of the ideas for solutions with the highest priority
- Ideas for the next step. In some cases, it will be necessary to continue the work on the ideas for solutions in a joint demonstration project; in other cases, the business can start implementing the solution immediately after the workshop.
After the workshop:
Reporting to the business in the form of a summary of the ideas for solutions, drawings etc. The material is provided on a CD-ROM.
