Modelling
The numerical modelling in the research program has the purpose of establishing a link between experimental observations and theoretical models.
Semi-analytic formulations, self-developed FEM-codes and commercial codes such as ABAQUS form the basis for linear and non-linear elastic, non-linear elastic-plastic, fatigue and damage simulations of materials such as metals, composites, polymers and ceramics.
