Selected cases about being a student at Risø:Witold Robert Skrzypinski is a PhD student in the Wind Energy Division. Here he tells about himself, what it is like to be a PhD student at Risø and about his project on Vibration of wind turbine blades at standstill.Esben Bruun is a PhD student in the Biosystems Division. He tells about himself, what it is like to be a PhD at Risø and about his project on producing bio-oil from straw and utilising the coke residual product, biochar. Anne-Sofie Lautrup Sørensen from Sønderborg State School went to Risø DTU to learn more about magnetic cooling and wrote an assignment that won the second prize in the competition ‘Young Scientists 2008’. In 2006, Merete Bruun Christiansen, postdoc, was one of Risø's participants in the Galathea Expedition.
Christian Jensen gets education and professional training at the same time through a superimposed course in relation to his education as engineer and employment in Risø's Wind Energy Department.
Andrea-Louise Nissen, veterinary student, and Maria Mattebjerg, chemical engineer student, worked together on the Risø's bioethanol project over the summer.
