Field experiments to test effects of environmental changes on terrestrial ecosystems

We apply both atmospheric and chamber methods to measure the exchange of gasses between ecosystems, branch systems, leaves and soil. These methods are constantly tested and improved.

Method Scale Fluxes
eddy covariance ecosystem CO2, H2O sensible heat and momentum
static chamber branches CO2, H2O
dynamic chamber leaves CO2, H2O, O3
static chamber soil CO2, N2O, CH4, NO,; NO2
static chamber ecosystem CO2, N2O, CH4

We offer consultancy and training in these methods and our contribution to research or monitoring projects with our flux methodology
